So, since you’ve come here, you clearly want to find out a little more about who I am, what I do, and how I think. Well lets address those, shall we?

  • I’m a nerd.
  • I’m 18.
  • I’m from Pittsburgh, PA.
  • I’m a freshman in college at the University of California, Berkeley, College of Engineering.
  • I like funny stuff.
  • I’m easily distracted.
    • I procrastinate. A lot.
    • I’m in Calband, and I love every minute of it.
  • I like skiing, and I get paid to do it!
  • I like reading.
  • I hate writing, but sometimes I do it anyway.
  • I believe in Freedom of Information, Freedom of Speech, and all that other cool stuff in the Bill of Rights.
    • I believe Governments can be evil, so we need to (be able to) keep an eye on them, but big businesses can be evil-ER, so we make governments to keep them in check.
      • I believe that governments and businesses are created to serve the People, and should behave as such.
    • I think the Tea Party is deranged.
  • I’m not afraid to talk about what I believe in, and I’m not afraid to change my views when presented with a compelling reason to do so. I’m not afraid to admit being wrong.
    • That being said, I don’t like people who try to force beliefs down your throats.
      • *Cough*, Vatican, *Cough*
    • I also don’t like people who refuse to have legitimate conversation, and put their fingers in their ears and go LALALALALALALA.
      • *Cough*, Senate filibusters, *Cough*
    • I also also don’t like people who are too arrogant or set in their ways to admit that they’re wrong, or that something needs to change, especially when they’re being stared in the face by facts and data.
  • I don’t believe that we should ever do anything without understanding why we are doing it. No, “because I said so,” and “because it’s what we’ve always done” are not good reasons.
  • I believe that science, logic, and reason, reign supreme.
  • I believe that everyone should think, every day.
  • I believe that people are people, no matter how small
