Journeys of a Growing Programmer
I like to consider myself a geek. I listen to 80+ podcasts, more than most can name off the top of their heads. I’m darn handy at Mac OS X, Windows (i don’t like to admit that) and Linux. I’ve troubleshooted many a computer, and am my family and neighbor’s go to guy for tech. I understand how a lot of technology works, and regularly use that knowledge. I have more friends online then in real life, and I spend the majority of my time on the computer (and for those screaming “GET A LIFE” I enjoy every minute of it). One flaw I always knew about in my geekiness was that I was programming and Internet coding stupid. There are people who know and regularly code in more languages than I can name off (I can name 14) and i feel sad
So i have decided to learn HTML and a programming language. With the help of Leo Laporte (the Tech Guy, #468, around 1:13 into it), I have decided to learn Python. I will talk more specifically about this later. I hope after learning HTML, to learn XHTML and CSS, and once I learned Python I would like to learn some other Obj. Oriented programming, like Obj. C.
